Cookie policy

This policy explains which cookies and storage technologies kerasworld.com uses, in accordance with article 22.2 of Spanish Act 34/2002 (LSSI-CE) and the guidance of the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

1. What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file that a website stores on your device when you visit it. Among other things, it can remember preferences or measure how the site is used.

2. What we use on this site

First-party cookies: only the consent manager's. We use Cookiebot as our consent management platform: it stores a technical cookie with the choice you make in the banner, so we do not have to ask again on every visit. It is a strictly necessary cookie and does not require prior consent.

Analytics or advertising cookies: they are not loaded until you accept them. Cookiebot automatically blocks any third-party tag until you give your consent, and only then are they activated. If you reject them, none are installed.

Local storage: the language switcher may store your preference in the browser's localStorage so it does not have to ask again. It is technical data, it stays on your device and it is not sent to any server.

3. Third-party services loaded in the browser

The map on the Maps page no longer sets any cookies. Since August 2026 we stopped embedding Google My Maps and replaced it with our own map built with Leaflet and OpenStreetMap map data served by OpenFreeMap.

That is why the map is no longer behind the consent notice: it is always visible. The only thing communicated to the tile server is your IP address, which is unavoidable in any web request and which we do not use to identify you; we explain this in the privacy policy.

The map is also loaded only when you reach that section; if you do not visit it, no connection to Google takes place.

4. Managing cookies and storage

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from the cookie banner itself, which reopens through the link Cookiebot shows on the site. You can also block or delete cookies and local storage from your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge and Brave all offer this under privacy settings).

5. Changes to this policy

If we add further analytics or third-party cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your prior consent through a specific notice. For any question, write to careanddare@kerasworld.com.
